Twenty U.S. Universities to Participate in U.S. Embassy’s EducationUSA Fair in Algiers

DIA-24 april 2017: The U.S. Embassy is pleased to announce the organization of a fair on April 24 from 14:00 to 19:00 at the Palais de la Culture in Algiers to encourage Algerian high school and university students to consider studying in the United States.  Admission representatives from 20 public and private U.S. universities will meet interested students, provide information about their degree programs and application requirements, and answer questions.  In addition, three workshops will provide tips for how to apply to U.S. institutions, how to succeed on the TOEFL and IELTS tests, and how to finance your education.

Participating universities include:  Arkansas Tech University, DePaul University, Georgetown University in Qatar, Kansas State University, Kent State University, New York University in Abu Dhabi, Northern Illinois University, Savanah College of Art and Design (SCAD), Siena College, Shoreline Community College, St. Cloud State University, State University of New York (SUNY) Plattsburgh, Suffolk University, Temple University, University of Colorado Boulder, University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point, University of Wisconsin-Madison, Valencia College, and Virginia Tech.

The fair is open to the public, and the Embassy invites Algerian youth and their parents to attend!  Please visit our website at https://dz.usembassy.gov/ to register for this free event.  Attendees should bring a printed registration confirmation page to the fair.
